Located on five acres of serene orange grove in the historic green belt district of Riverside, Thanti-Thitsar Vipassana Meditation Center (TTVMC) is a quiet refuge, an ideal environment conducive to the practice of Vipassana Meditation. The TTVMC provides a local center of Buddhist worship, representing the loving kindness and compassion, a supreme quality of Buddha. Our goal is to offer the true, priceless teachings of Buddhas, both in theory and practice. Buddha's teaching invites everyone to "Come and See".

We welcome people of all faiths and backgrounds.
Founded a little over a year ago, TTVMC is a relatively new center, however, during its short history the center has been fortunate in hosting some of the most notable Vipassana teachers in the world. Our religious advisors are Venerable U Silananda, Venerable Gunaratana, and Kyaswa Sayadaw U Lakkhana, who have generously come to the center and taught retreats ranging in weekend to a month in length. We invite qualified Theravada Buddhist Masters in Insight Meditations from Myanmar (Burma). And always seek to provide able translators for our Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai, Sri Lanka, Cambodian, and American Dhamma friends.
